Starting once a week I will post a Linux Tips and Tricks post. I’ll cover things for the n00b to the expert end user. I’ve been using Debian Linux since 1997 and dabbled with other versions such a Redhat/Fedora, OpenSUSE and Slackware over the years as well so I’ve been there when you had to compile everything and there was no package manager such as Aptitude, Yum or whatever.

I am trying to think of a good first topic to cover. I might cover my standard Shell layout I use to control a System. We shall see, I plan to start the weekly post on Fridays and call it TGILF (Thank God it’s Linux Friday) lol.
